To educate the membership so that they can hold accountable those people we put in charge of our Union affairs and;

To educate the membership and inspire them to take action in directing our leadership to serve only the interst of it's members and;

To monitor all the activities of the Local's elected and appointed official, to assure that they are utilizing our time and resourses only in the course of serving the membership and;

To remind our leadership that they were not elected to enrich themselves through there positions and;

To warn the leadership that they cannot violate the trust of those who put them there.

Wherefore,  this organozation herby reminds our leadership of it's obligations to the good-standing membership and reaffirn that It's not an accident that our Union By-Laws reefers to the membership as the "Supreme Governing Body of our Local" (By-Law, Section, page).
